The holding the JESUS REIGNS: A Day of Celebration every November 30 is significant.
On November 30, 1947, the streets of Jerusalem was filled with jubilation as the Jews celebrate the partition of Israel. The day before, the United Nations General Assembly voted 33 to 12, with 10 abstentions and 1 absent, in favor of the Palestine Partition Plan. The vote was received with much jubilation in Israel. People flocked to the streets in Jerusalem singing, dancing, and waving flags.
Lifting Hands to the One True King
“God reigns over the nations; God sits upon His holy throne. The princes and nobles of the peoples are gathered together, a [united] people for the God of Abraham, for the shields of the earth belong to God; He is highly exalted.” (Psalm 47:8-9, AMP)
Simultaneous Nationwide Celebration
Since 2014, a nationwide community of believers has been coming together to a JESUS REIGNS: A DAY OF CELEBRATION event to honor and enthrone Jesus Christ as King over the nation for the Philippines.
On this very special day, no other name but that of Jesus is magnified or exalted. No names of churches, individuals or corporate donors are acknowledged as part of our core value of anonymity.
