Day 9: The Wonders He Makes

Everyone was amazed and gave praise to God. They were filled with awe and said, “We have seen remarkable things today.”

                                                                                Luke 5:26, NIV

Have you ever had those moments, when you were so certain what you were experiencing was made possible by a supernatural being that made it possible? Or are you still waiting to be in one?

Our God is the creator of the universe, and He is responsible for all the wondrous creations surrounding us. Look around you and see how remarkable are the hands of the one who designed all of what we see. All around us, His creation speaks in colors and sounds. Yet, in the busyness of our life, we tend to look out only for something greater than what we normally see every day, making us miss the miracles in the small and mundane things.

Is your vision of a wonderful Maker blocked by the news? By your work deadlines? Or from the stresses of life? Stop and whisper to the Creator who made you, “God, I have seen remarkable things today. I have a life, a family, and I have You.”

Heavenly Father, how many and varied and glorious are Your works! I will praise you for alone are to be exalted and declared supreme. Your glory and majesty are above the heavens and the earth.  No one can ever compare with you. I will arise and declare how great and wonderful you are.  In Jesus’ name, amen.

Take time to appreciate God’s creation. Look around you and find one thing that you would like to praise God for.
