Day 8: Walk Through Fire

When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.

                                                                                   Isaiah 43:2

No one ever likes discomfort. When we find ourselves in difficult situations, we feel vulnerable and get agitated. But God tells us that even when we are stuck in a situation that seems impossible to solve or when we are in a painful circumstance, He is there with us.

When you did not get the promotion you had hoped for, did you find yourself sinking in self – doubt? Are you in a financial crisis that keeps you awake at night? No matter where you find yourself in, God is always with you. Look to Him and trust in His unfailing words. When He says He will be with you in deep waters, you can be sure that He is there with you. Hope will replace self-doubt. Provision will overcome financial crisis.

Father, thank you for reminding me that You are with me whenever I go through difficulties. Give me the strength to rise above my situation. Let what I am going through bring forth the character that you are shaping in me. May You be glorified in my situation.

In Jesus’ name, amen.

What situation do you find yourself in now? Pray that no matter where you are, you will lean into our God who makes the impossible possible. Rejoice as you confidently walk through the fire. He is already there with you.

  1. Indeed God cares for us more than what we can imagine. He has reserved goodness and mercy for all the days of our lives. (Psalm 23:6) God bless everyone!
