Serve with the Team
“Fori say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.”
Romans 12:3
We are all blessed by God with so many spiritual gifts. But being spiritually gifted does not mean we are above the rest of the team. The effectivity and fruitfulness of a team comes when we recognize and respect each other’s personality and giftedness. Competition has no place in the ministry and in the fellowship of the believers. As a team we are to love, honor, and respect one another above ourselves.
The greatest hindrance to a team’s success is when we focus on ourselves instead of others. Self-centeredness disqualifies us from a fruitful life of service to God and His Kingdom. We should work and act together as a team to make a lasting impact not only in the Body of Christ but also in our communities.
PRAYER
Lord, I pray for my team and the ministry You entrusted to
us. Rid us of selfishness so that we can serve You and one
another with love and humility May there truly be more of
You and less of us. In Jesus name. Amen.
