Day 28: Saturday, November 17, 2018

Strength in Numbers

“Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven.”  (Matthew 18:19)

There is no such thing as a lone ranger Christian. Even in Genesis, the Bible tells us that it was not good for man (Adam) to be alone that’s why God made him a suitable helper – Eve. We were made for relationship.

That is why the best way to grow and see results is when we walk in fellowship with other believers. The benefits of being in a community of believer is remarkable. You are protected and are less likely to fall into the traps of temptation or sin. You are not alone. You receive help and support in the various seasons and circumstances in your life. You can stay spiritually warm because you have encouragement, accountability, and correction. You can accomplish more because there are more hands helping you get the work done.

No one church can do all things for the Kingdom of God. When the churches gather together to worship God, transformation is inevitable. There is power when the churches come together and unite in prayer and in the work of the Lord. The declaration that the gospel will be shared till the ends of the earth is possible because we are a strong force working hand in hand.

PRAYER

Give us, O Lord, the desire to come together that we may be a strong potent force in advancing the gospel. Help us share the good news together with all other churches.

APPLICATION

Join the body of Christ in prayer gatherings and edifying activities and be counted.
