Day 7: Saturday, October 27, 2018

The Triumphant King

”They will wage war against the Lamb (Christ), and the Lamb will triumph and conquer them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him and on His side are the called and chosen (elect) and faithful.” (Revelation 17:14)

When I read the book of Revelation, I see the exciting victory story we have in Jesus Christ. The fact is despite all the suffering, hardship, and pain in this world, Jesus will triumph and conquer. And this is what we can look forward to as his followers. We can be encouraged that what we do for Christ will never be in vain. This is enough motivation to keep sharing about the love of the Father and bring Jesus to every family and every sector of society.

We need to remind ourselves how powerful and Almighty our God is. He is Lord of lords and King of kings. Therefore, every leader in every nation, no matter how influential and powerful they are now, will one day bow down and declare only one name: JESUS. Therefore, despite the opposition of others, we are never ashamed to call out His Name because His name is the most powerful name in the universe.

Since we know He is our God Most High, we must learn to let Jesus reign in everything we do. God calls everyone to be part of His Kingdom as his ambassadors here on earth. He makes every church his office for his work here on earth. He wants to expand His Kingdom by bringing everyone together under Jesus’ name. He wants us to be faithful to our call. He is getting his people ready because He is coming soon. His promise states that those found faithful will be with Him and on His side.
